Some newly-finished knives. Top 2 are for a friend- I call that my "jaeger" pattern. Handle is American black walnut, with copper pins. Nest is a narrow "birds beak" handle, done in myrtle, with copper tubes as pins, and finally a kinda fancy "Mina" pattern, with Western Quilted maple handle, and brass tubes for pins. Bottom 2 are available~ drop a note if your interested.

Thank you! Yes indeed- even art ought to have a use, I believe. That walnut-handled one is for one of our ladies- and shall be doing a lot of cooking work. My fiance has a larger version, and so the blade style has become the de-facto kitchen worker in our guild. It is a spectacular chopper, and does great work in boning, too- with that broad tip. I even made a heavier version for a friend- he uses it as a game breaker, and camp knife.
