Description

Gottfried's shoes- showing the top and the bottom. Each shoe has about 60 hobnails, and a hand-made buckle. They are made completely period, even down to the use of iron and vinegar to color them.

Excellent. Iron and vinegar? explain more! I know iron tacks in leather will make black marks, so that makes sense... do you make a rusty slurry with the vinegar or what?
